Extremely Reliable & Cost Effective Basic Rectifier Protection The new, BRP rectifier protection system is a specialized modular system designed to sense reverse and optionally over current events on high current DC bus bars. BRP utilizes a pair of sensors, mounted on opposite sides of the DC bus bar. • New Proprietary Magnetic Shielding minimizes impact of external magnetic fields to reduce false alarms. • New ASIC based current sensor dramatically improves signal to noise ratio for high dependability • Direct Bus Mounting Simplifies installation and allows application to a wide variety of bus bar sizes • Variety of configurations and available outputs: o 24V logic reverse alarm output o Latching reverse alarm output with LED indication and manual reset button o Two user adjustable over current alarms with dry contact relay outputs o Power Relay for direct activation of protection equipment
